Pianist Deborah Kiszely-Papp has performed extensively as a soloist and collabora- tive pianist with renowned musicians throughout the United States and in Europe, in- cluding at the Académie Musicale de Morges and the Aspen Music Festival. She has presented lecture recitals at the First International Liszt Conference in Stuttgart and at Towson, Indiana, and Florida State Universities. She has taught piano and related subjects at the Juilliard School, Queens College, Gonzaga University, Whitworth University, and the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. As a Fulbright scholar to Hungary, she researched and performed the music of Ernő Dohnányi at many institutions. She holds a doctoral degree from the City University of New York and a Master’s Degree from Juilliard, where she studied with Gyorgy Sandor. Dr. Kiszely-Papp is Assistant Professor of Music at Chowan University, where she teaches piano and is the accompanist for music majors and choral ensembles.
